Duncan McGregor is a senior member of technical staff in the Computational Multiphysics department. His research interests include discretizations for a variety of plasmas spanning both warm dense matter (MHD) and kinetic regimes (PIC). His training is primarily in compatible discretizations although his recent work has also focused on time integration.
2016, PhD Mathematics, Oregon State University, Corvallis Oregon. Thesis: Compatible Discretizations for Maxwell's Equations in General Constitutive Media.
- Department of Mathematics Graduate Student Academic Achievement Award (2014-2015)
2013, MS Mathematics, Oregon State University, Corvallis Oregon.
2011, BS Mathematics, Pacific University, Forest Grove Oregon.
- Outstanding Senior in Mathematics
