I have historically worked in combinatorial optimization, algorithm design and analysis, and parallel computation with elements of operations research. My work has spanned theory, general solver development, and applications. Most recently, I have worked in "big data" areas, including streaming, complex (social) network analysis, and trajectory analysis and I have worked in co-design of algorithms and architectures for extreme-scale future machines.
Here is a list of current or recent applications and technical areas: scheduling, network and infrastructure surety, sensor placement, wireless networks, integer programming, graph algorithms, complex network analysis, cybersecurity.
Here are a list of past research areas: vehicle routing, computational biology, experimental algorithmics, quantum computing
My latest CV is available under the "Related links and files" button. Since these have to be formally reviewed, I will post a new one approximately once per year.
